Main objectives of WP2.3
- Determine the role of NHS physics (internal waves, Kelvin-Helmholtz instabilities) on turbulence production and mixing in the Rotterdam Waterway.
- Understand the impact of physics, stratification, and circulation at the river mouth on salt intrusion.
- Understand the potential of internal waves generated by geometrical features as mitigation measures.
