The river bed is constantly in motion, and these changes have direct consequences for flood safety and the depth of shipping routes. By studying bedform dynamics, we help river managers and advisors anticipate morphological developments before they become risks. Our research focuses on developing the calculation methods and predictive models needed to design effective river interventions and maintain a stable, reliable river system.
